Physician Advisor, Customer Clinical Solutions

Deb Friesen

Deb Friesen is an internal medicine physician with the Colorado Permanente Medical Group. As a physician advisor for customer clinical solutions, Deb works closely with Kaiser Permanente’s National Sales and Account Management teams, providing market-facing clinical expertise and leadership and contributing to the development of health strategies to improve business results for customers, prospects, and benefit consultants. After completing her training, internship, and residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Deb stayed an extra year as a chief resident before starting her practice. She joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006 and continues as an associate clinical professor at the medical school.

Karin Cooke

Karin Cooke designs educational programs and presentations for international health care leaders to share Kaiser Permanente’s leading practices and success with our integrated health care model. Prior to joining KP International, Karin was a director with Kaiser Permanente’s Technology Innovation, a group that identifies emerging technologies that are relevant for Kaiser Permanente and partners with KP leaders and frontline innovators to test solutions that can transform how care is delivered. Karin has a bachelor’s degree in communications from UC Berkeley and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA.

Executive Director, Consumer Engagement

Jeanine Maier

Jeanine Maier has helped Kaiser Permanente deliver on its mission for the past 15 years, most recently as executive director, consumer engagement. In this role, in coordination with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, she has accountability for connecting members to high-quality, affordable care via the Clinical Contact Center and through digital channels. Jeanine is a certified clinical engineer and holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from the Catholic University of America and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Maryland.
